Arrow Crab (Stenorhynchus seticornis) One of the most unique and unusual crabs of the ocean and on top of that one of the most useful members of you clean up crew ! The arrow crab is also known as the spider crab because of its unusually long spider like legs. It gets its name because of the shape of its body and head. Some in the wild may reach up to 10” ! They look some what intimidating but are extremely fragile and safe to touch. They are found all over the world but the ones we carry at fragbox are primarily from the Caribbean. They are not shy and can easily be spotted. Their main function in a reef aquarium is eating worms such as bristle , fire worms or other pests.
